3/4 Minutes

AGENDA:
Present members - Shultz, Alvey, Johnson, Hazel
1. Calibrated grading on Quiz 1 Unit 5.
Alvey didn't quiz yet & Hazel's students didn't finish. We will do this next PLC.

2. Discuss grading procedures. (Reminder- google sheets for standards)
Updated Johnson on the standards-based grading procedures used on quizzes & tests. 

3. Pacing
Alvey - quiz tomorrow
Shultz - simplifying radicals
Johnson - quizzed over properties of triangles & moving towards the congruent postulates. She will be doing Pyth Thm during WU time.
Hazel - students need to finish quiz & moving onto TRIG

2-19-19

Present:  Hale, Bynum, Unseld, Goodman

Hale:  MedQuest College coming 9:15 on March 28th
           Sullivan University on March 14th - 3 sessions
           NOCTI practice questions received.  Waiting on answer key to create class appropriate              practice sessions as students will not be able to complete all 100 questions due to time restrictions.

Unseld: MNA students who have decided not pursue the clinical requirements or certification have been provided the opportunity to complete the NOCTI exam only in an attempt to gain a Career Ready Point. These students do understand they will not be a certified SRNA in this case and cannot pursue employment accordingly in this realm.


Bynum:  Surgery Thursday 2-21-19 and will be out until 3-11-19.  Lesson plans covered.

Goodman:  First day; winging it.  Team advising and assisting her to get through her first day.

1. Check in on planning/pacing

  • Alvey - quiz over reflections; advanced will quiz over rotations
  • Hazel & Lawson - quiz over rotations this week
  • Finish transformations the week after Thanksgiving


2. Rotations Quiz update

  • Alvey is finishing
  • Lawson/Hazel will check for errors or changes that need to be made


NEXT STEPS:

  • enter & post grades
  • Hazel will do WU 14B
  • finish menu for projects (all will help tomorrow after school)
